In 2007 空次郎 (SkyJiro N.) teamed up with 金山 Kinzan (David Goldberg) a professional Japanese trained swordsmith, to fortify the Japanese swordsmith tradition and add critical integrity to the metallurgy, design and workmanship of the sword lines. David started his swordsmith career in 1987. He has been trained in Soshu tradition under the Kanefusa lineage in Gifu Japan. The partnership now has come to a place where they are offering the highest quality swords on the market for the price point. Each and every SkyJiro-Line sword carries a limited lifetime guarantee. We have gathered several of the highest grade traditional Japanese trained smiths in Asia to work with us in our studios, all with more than 10 years of experience. We have trained, and continued to educate our in house smiths in the fine detailed techniques of Japanese swordsmith tradition. We continue to develop and refine our swords. Each sword grade specifically states what it is designed for. What the intended use is, and what it is able to cut. These specific materials are the only materials we warranty our swords to perform for. for example Bamboo, Tatami Omote, Goza, Wara etc. Should the swordsman choose to cut and abuse the sword on steel, metals, concrete, trees, bottles etc. we will not cover the damage.
