Excellent value for money. If you are martial artists you will appreciate a balance, weight, shape, beauty in simplicity, attention to details and high quality of manufacturing. Good for you iai or tameshigiri.
This sword does disassemble the way as it should…by hitting a wrist.

I own various swords from a variety of forges. When writing this review I am comparing it to my $2,300 (newly released from the forge) katana (due to materials and aesthetics). After inspecting the katana, I was blown away! No offence to Skyjiro but you pictures and descriptions does NOT do the blade justice. I am a proud owner of this blade (KIKU-NO-HANA ) and I am anxious to purchase more! My school’s Hanshi is so impressed that he is considering making this our required steel. Thank you all (including David for helping me through and answering all of my questions) for your wonderful workmanship.

My main background is Aikido Canada Yoshinkan Style under Kimeda Sensei Nine Dan.
I was doing Iaido for several years. ( sorry English is not my first language0 ; never used a real blade.
I will write my feedback when received.

The sheer attention to detail is astonishing! I have never owned or held a sword built to such a high degree. I cannot fault any details of the sword! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
