Excellent value for money. If you are martial artists you will appreciate a balance, weight, shape, beauty in simplicity, attention to details and high quality of manufacturing. Good for you iai or tameshigiri.
This sword does disassemble the way as it should…by hitting a wrist.

I own various swords from a variety of forges. When writing this review I am comparing it to my $2,300 (newly released from the forge) katana (due to materials and aesthetics). After inspecting the katana, I was blown away! No offence to Skyjiro but you pictures and descriptions does NOT do the blade justice. I am a proud owner of this blade (KIKU-NO-HANA ) and I am anxious to purchase more! My school’s Hanshi is so impressed that he is considering making this our required steel. Thank you all (including David for helping me through and answering all of my questions) for your wonderful workmanship.
